Lucy J. (Bernadine) Nail age 89 of Three Rivers, died Saturday April 25, 2009 at Heartland Health Care in Three Rivers, where she has lived for the past 6 years. She was born June 23, 1919 in Hudson, IL to the late Samuel and Mary E. (Snavely) Abrams. She married Elmon Z. Nail in Bradenton Beach, FL. Lucy was named Heartland Queen of the Year in 2004, she enjoyed playing bingo and going on outings with the residents. Lucy is survived by her daughter Jeanette (Leonard) Moyer of Constantine, brother; James Abrams of Three Rivers; 3 grandchildren, Deanna (Dennis) Walter, Kirk (Carrie) Moyer and Kelly (Ken) Hartley; 8 great grandchildren, Meaghan, Cameron, Hannah, Erica, Kelsey, Trace, Alec, and Brayton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; Conrad, Ernest, Eugene, Lyndon and Wayne Abrams and 3 sisters; Elsie Reed, Betsy Mock, and Mary Thompson. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Activity Fund or to the Charity of your choice.
