Pauline Dorothea Jones, age 90 of Constantine, MI died on Friday Jan. 2, 2015 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Centreville, MI following a long illness. She was born in Three Rivers, MI on Oct. 2, 1924 the daughter of Ira E. and Sarah E. (Foreman) Franklin. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School and had been a resident of the Three Rivers, Constantine, and White Pigeon area her entire life. She was first married to Gailord D. Schrock, and later to Richard L. Jones who both preceded her in death. She was a life-long homemaker who was also employed as a waitress at the White Pigeon Box Shop and at the Family Farm. She enjoyed oil painting, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, growing roses, bird watching, horses, and time spent with her family. \n\nShe is survived by two sons, Donald (Donna) Schrock of Constantine and Dennis (Sarah) Schrock of Martinsville, IN; three daughters, Jody (Jeff) Komins of Union, MI, Gail (Gary) Le Van of Constantine, and Lori (Garry) Hibbs of Constantine; nineteen grandchildren: thirty nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Betty Weese of Henderson, NV; one brother, Giles "Bud" (Cathy) Franklin of Henderson, NV; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; Ellis, Paul, and Gerald Franklin; three sisters, Beulah McKee, Ruth Lewis, and Edna Franklin; and a great-grandson, Joshua Le Van.\n\nVisitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 6, 2015 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeremy Le Van, Pastor of the Epic Church of Mishawaka, IN officiating. Interment will follow in Constantine Township Cemetery. Donations will be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
